Golden KL Union Sdn Bhd commenced operations on 17th March 2010, at a time when there was a thriving migrant workers environment in the country who would repatriate their earnings back home through companies set up for this purpose.
The company was inaugurated to take advantage of the potential for earnings that this climate encapsulated. It started off with 4 branches - in Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Kajang and Rawang. Having made a significant impact in the remittance industry, 3 new branches in Damansara Damai, Sungai Way and Panglima Garang (Sanctuary Mall), were added to the fold, bringing the total network of branches currently to 7.
Golden KL Union Sdn Bhd has been acknowledged as one of the companies of choice for remittances to Indonesia by its partner banks Bank Rakyat Indonesia and Bank Negara Indonesia. Remittances are conducted on a real-time basis and customers have the options of crediting the accounts of their beneficiaries or facilitate collection in cash through arrangements by our partner banks.

This has resulted in a more dynamic management team which has been able to draw on the invaluable business experience of the company's founder Tan Sri Professor Dato Haji Mohamed Haniffa bin Haji Mohamed, a leading business personality in Malaysia. The company has recently established corridors in key areas such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
